Dockside Yacht Lodging in San Diego, California

If you want an alternative to a boring hotel room then this is where to stay in San Diego. We stayed on the sail boat--the Narnie O'Shae and hands down it was the nicest weekend getaway ever. It's peaceful, the scenery is gorgeous, and the boat is beautiful. There were three sleeping cabins which would accommodate 5 but since it was just the two of us so we slept in the largest master cabin--the bed was VERY comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms but they are small: it is a BOAT people. But you have access to the marina bathrooms with large showers. You also have access to the Hotel amenities, pool, gym, restaurant... you can even order room service! There is a nice kitchen and living area inside and the outside deck is a lovely place to hang out with your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The only downside is we never wanted to leave the boat so we didn't get as much sight seeing done as we had initially planned... we just sat on that pretty little boat all weekend... soooooo relaxing! We cant wait to return! BTW--the owner/manager was very nice and accommodating and the other boat, the Pura Vida, looked pretty amazing.
