I Massage in San Diego, California

Terrible experience at this "brothel-esque" massage location. I went here because it is right next to my chiropractors office. Before starting the sessions I informed them that I was going to use my medical insurance to pay for the service. I paid at the front desk and was lead to the room by this rude pushy woman who barely spoke English. While inside I noticed this place looked more akin to a brothel than a reputable massage office. I received my massage, while it was "OK" the whole thing felt very rushed from beginning to end. At the end I was rudely asked by the woman how much I was going to tip her, I told her I am sorry I don't have any cash on me but I could leave a tip at the front desk using my card. She uncomfortably escorted me to the front desk and hovered over me as I paid her additional monies. After this experience I already told myself I wouldn't come back. I then informed them that I was going to submit this claim to my insurance. I asked them for their massage person's name and license#. The front desk lady looked very nervous and said that she will have to get back to me via phone (I noticed they had several therapist license certificates behind the front desk but wasn't allowed to view them). I left the establishment and never heard back from them. I had to go back an additional 2 times to try to get the information but to no avail. At the end I was never given the name or license# to make an insurance claim. I told them I would share my experience online, the front desk lady immediately became loud and rude and said that it wasn't their fault. I told them I wasn't their to argue and walked to my car. As I walked to my car I could hear loud cursing in Chinese. This nasty place is a sham!
