An excessive heat warning is in effect for county deserts and valleys through 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Service. (Shutterstock) SAN DIEGO, CA —Another sweltering heat wave is hovering over parts of San Diego County, including 4S Ranch and Rancho Bernardo. An excessive heat warning is in effect for county deserts and valleys, including 4S Ranch and Rancho Bernardo, through 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Service. Dangerously hot conditions are expected for the inland valleys with high temperatures between 98 to 104 degrees, according to the NWS.
